Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please email us at info@partnerinwine.co.uk and we will do our best to help.

Items returned to us under our returns policy must be in their original packaging, in their original and resaleable condition and unused.

Your statutory right to cancel

If you purchase from us online, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

If you wish to exercise this right, please email us at info@partnerinwine.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

Once we receive the returned goods, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

Where required by law, we will also refund the cost of standard delivery paid at the time of purchase. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we will refund only the cost of our standard delivery service.

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods under the statutory cancellation right, unless the item is faulty, incorrect or we have agreed otherwise.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are sent using an adequate service that insures the value of the order. We cannot be held responsible for items that go missing while being returned to us.

You may handle the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, as you would be permitted to do in a shop. We reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund where goods have been handled beyond this and their value has been diminished as a result.

Our additional returns policy

In addition to your statutory cancellation rights, we may offer an extended returns period for eligible purchases. Details of any additional returns period will be stated on our website at the time of purchase.

Where an item is returned under our additional returns policy, rather than under your statutory cancellation rights, the return will be subject to the terms of that policy.

End of Summer Sale & Clearance

Our End of Summer Sale includes sale and clearance items. Sale and clearance prices do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Sale and clearance items are therefore eligible for the same statutory cancellation rights as full-price items when purchased online.

If you cancel your purchase within the statutory 14-day cancellation period, you will receive a refund to your original payment method in accordance with the terms above, including the cost of standard delivery paid at the time of purchase.

Once the statutory cancellation period has expired, sale and clearance items are eligible for a gift card rather than a refund under our additional returns policy, where the item meets our returns requirements.

Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" are not excluded from your statutory consumer rights. We cannot refuse a statutory refund solely because an item was purchased at a reduced price.

If an item has been reduced because of a particular fault or imperfection, that fault will be clearly stated at the time of purchase. You cannot subsequently claim a remedy for a fault that was specifically brought to your attention before you purchased the item.

Faulty or incorrect items

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

If an item is faulty, not as described, incorrect or does not meet the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, please contact us at info@partnerinwine.co.uk.

We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, improper care or normal wear and tear may not be considered a manufacturing fault.

Our products are also covered by our one-year manufacturing defect policy. This is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory consumer rights.

Personalised Orders

If an item is personalised or specifically made to order, it cannot be cancelled or returned simply because you have changed your mind, unless it is faulty.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

We always try to ensure that the images of products on our website are as realistic as possible and that product details include all the information you need to decide if the item is suitable for you.

Please email us at info@partnerinwine.co.uk before placing your order if you have any questions about a product or whether it is suitable for you.

Cancellation before dispatch

If you would like to cancel or amend your order before it has been processed, please email us as soon as possible.

We aim to accommodate cancellation requests received within one hour of your order confirmation email. After this time, your order may already have been processed or dispatched and we may be unable to cancel it before dispatch.

If your order has already been processed or dispatched, you can still exercise your statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, as set out above.

If you have any queries regarding returns, please contact us at info@partnerinwine.co.uk.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
